在汉语中我们喜欢用四个字的词组或成语，不知道在英语里有没有这方面的习惯？而且我想知道英国人选词组句过程中有什么习惯性的规矩？
英语中也有大量重复的词组,但是和汉语相比那就真是小巫见大巫了.
1)重复的例子:

2)词头押韵(首韵)

3)同义叠用

4)反义对举

例如“小菜一碟” 就是a piece of cake（直译：一片蛋糕）
