第一题显然是只能是the monment 引导得时间状语从句，而once引导的时间状语从句，从句要用一般现在时代替将来时。
我觉得once在这里应该是一旦的意思，两道题都并不适合选once这个答案。如果说第二题非要选这个，可能是省略了when.如果复原应该是I gave it to him when once I saw him.当然，这个once最好放在句末。这是我的看法，挺勉强的。希望有高手指教。

我觉得两道题都不能用once.也许原题有误。用了很勉强。用排除法，是只能选它了。
once引导从句时，主句往往有将来时或能愿动词出现。
