Aesthetic is a branch of philosophy dealing with the nature of beauty. Through the 2000 years development, it has become a more delicate and complete subject.

  1.2.2 Further introduction about aesthetic
The objective world is richly colorful and complicated; the concrete shapes of beauty are also varied. According to the fields and characteristics, they may be divided into realistic beauty and artistic beauty.
Realistic beauty refers to the beauty existing in nature and society, while artistic beauty refers to the beauty of an artistic work through certain artistic methods.
Here, we just concentrate on artistic beauty which has a close relationship with phonology.

  1.2.3 Artistic beauty.
All literary works, the reason why they have the attractive artistic charm, is that they can cause the audience to have the comprehensive aesthetic sense. Literary works that do not have aesthetic characteristics cannot be called true art. The artistic charm comes in artistic beauty. Therefore, researches to artistic beauty are the important task of esthetics. As a form of esthetics, artistic beauty is the product of the creative liberty of artists. Their works are based on the realistic world but on the other hand are not just a simple reappearance of the reality. The beauty of their works comes from two aspects, one is the beauty of the image, and the other is the beauty of the form. By saying this, artistic beauty is the combination of the content and the form. Without rich content, any artistic work could not be widely spread, nevertheless, without appropriate form, a literary work, no matter how profound and rich the image is, could not be widely accepted.

The branch of philosophy that deals with the nature and value of art objects and experiences. It is concerned with identifying the clues within works that can be used to understand, judge, and defend judgments about those works. Originally, any activity connected with art, beauty and taste, becoming more broadly the study of art's function, nature, ontology, purpose, and so on.

A specialist in aesthetics is called an aesthetician.

There are many aesthetic theories, including imitationalism, emotionalism and formalism.

To postmodernists, these interests have largely been supplanted by questions of meaning and linguistically based investigations, such as those involving semiotics. They have used the term to indicate a certain imprecise distinction between art and life, or as a rough synonym for "artistic."
