A.another B.other

一、other
Sarah has read lots of stories by American writers. Now she would like to read (C)stories by writers from( )countries. ( NMET\'97)
A.some;any B.other; some C.some; other D.other; other
Tony is going camping with (C)boys. (MET\'93)
A.little two other B.two little other C.two other little D.little other two
3..any other +单数名词
To my surprise, my little son is taller than any other pupil in his class.
5.other或others与some相对应
There are many students on the playground. Some are playing basketball. Others(= Other students) are watching.
二、another
—Have you finished your report yet?
—No, I\'ll finish in (A)ten minutes.(NMET\'95)
A.another B.other C.more D.less
I don\'t like this hat, please show me another one.
I don\'t like this hat, please show me another.
I have three brothers; one is twenty, one is fifteen and another is ten.
5.another的复数是some/any others或some/any more。
Young people may grow quickly in some ways and more slowly in (C).(上海市\'93).
A.the other B.some other C.others D.these others
Others may laugh at her but I like her.
四、the other
She got two horses, one for the princess and the other one for the servant.
There are ten books on the shelf. Three are English books, the other books are Chinese books.
She got two horses, one for the princess and the other for the servant.
五、the others
There are ten books on the shelf. Three are English books, the others are Chinese books.
