6 enough

We have enough time to do our homework.
There is room enough for 30 people to live here.

That's enough.

The boy is old enough to go to school.
I know him well enough.
He didn't get up early enough to catch the early bus.

She sings well enough.= She sings very well.

3. enough 可用于“It's ... enough for ... to do sth.”结构中,也可以用于“It's ... enough that ...”

It isn't low enough for me to touch.

Enough is as good as feast.
I've had enough, thank you.

I have no enough money to buy a car.
I don't have enough money to buy a car.

We have quite enough time.

3. can't / can never ... enough

You can never be careful enough.
We can't thank him enough.

enough adj.
