首先它们的意思就是不同的。
as a result of强调的是result~也就是结果。
because of强调的是原因哦~~`
用法上来讲~两者后面都加。。名词或者动名词。
楼主~~as a result的意思是“做为。。。的结果”引申出来的确有因为的意思，但强调的内容是不同的哦```
because 后跟从句
because of 后跟名词、代词、或者是相当于名词的短语
怎么楼上的谈到的是as a result of？莫非LZ改了问题？
because 后接句子
e.g. I can't go to the party this evening because I have to prepare the exam tomorrow.
because of 后接短语
e.g. I can't go to the party this evening because of the exam.
简单的说：意思一样。
because+句子eg .i won't go shopping because it is raining.因为下雨，我将不去购物了。
because of +单词/词组eg. i won't go shopping because of the rain.因为下雨，我将不去购物了。
we put a 从句 after because but we always put nouns,名词短语,或代词after because of
