有时候能促进自己 有时候不会

帮助他人学习不但不会影响自己的成绩，相反能锻炼自己、促进自己、提高自己的学习成绩。这是要教好别人首先自己要先学会、学好的原因。

其实没那么严重的拉，耽误是肯定的，但你要有奉献的精神吗

For me, I don't think it will affect my own result.
There are three reasons to support my points.

First, helping others to study is another way to check the status of your own understanding. For example, your classmates have some adoubts about how to identify the differences between salaries and wages.Then you might able to think about how to answer this question first before you start your explanation. In this process, you will double check your knowlege, whether you are actully understand the lecture or not.

Second, it is a motivation for your study. Since you are asked by others who should be in the same class as you, it means that you are considered the one who is good. At this moment, you will feel that you are expected by others, and you enjoy this moment; even maybe you don't real perform as well as that.

Third, it is also can be considered as the adviser to give notice to you.You will know that which part of the knowledge have to be pay more attentions, maybe you also confuse as him. It is the best to find out that you know all, but sometimes during this activity you will able to gain different opinions or points from the askers. Becasue they are using the different way of thinking, so they get confuse. As your position, you have to not only remind and teach everything but you also need to follow his mind and understand which part he gets confusion.

According to these reason, I believe that helping others to study should not considered as the waste time action. Besides, we need to look it into the positive way as to practise your communication skills and do the revision of your own understanding.
