Ladies and Gentlemen(这个称呼可以改，如boys and girls, my dear teachers), may I have your attention please? I am very glad to make a speech on how to make the college life wonderful.
As we all know, people have a dream that they like to go to college or university when they grow up. Because they will have further education and a good future when they graduate. So is the same with us. But what should we do to make our college life wonderful.
Obviously, the first important thing is that we must study hard to get the degree and prepare for a job after graduation. Besides this, there are two more things that we should seriously take into consideration. Can any of you guess what things they are? Maybe some of you have got them that they are friendship and love.
In the college life, we meet many students from different places and some of them like to make friends with one another. With the help of friends, we can share many things in our daily life, such as sorrows and joys. We can also live in a friend’s house when we visit a strange place. I once heard of a song which says it is hard to look for a friend from a distant place and we pass smoothly when we have enough friends(千里难寻是朋友,朋友多了路好走). There is also a well-known saying that a friend in need is a friend indeed. Since we gather from different places, why not develop friendship and help with each other? As for me, I honestly like to make friends with all of you and I wish that all of you could find true friendship and enjoy the school life.
Love, which is a hot topic among us, inevitably takes place in the school life. Love can produce a strong power in one person. It can make one to fight with another person and even kill him. But it can also make one to study hard to get great achievement so as to get her heart. If we want our college life to become wonderful, I suggest that we should look for love. For one thing, we can have a long time to know each other. When we have a job, we will be hard to look for love and can not know he or she clearly. For another thing, lovers can encourage each other to do many things. For example, lovers make each other study hard to fight for the future. Finally, marriage is not like child game. It is related to one person’s whole-life happiness. So we should look for lover carefully.
In a word, achievement, friendship and love can make our college life wonderful. Only when we study hard, find true friendship and love can we realize how much we enjoy the college life!
