要说搭配，那有一点是肯定的，从句的时态必然 “早于”主句的时态。
例如，主句是现在时，从句必然是现在时态或更早的时态 如过去时。主句是过去时，从句也必然是过去时或更早的时态 例如过去完成时态，而不会是 现在时。
例句：It is obvious that he has been at home (because she phoned us with his home tel.)
再例如：It was obvious that she had got home (because at that time the displayed tel. number was the one of her home)
很显然她已经到家了，因为当时来电显示的电话号码是她家的电话号码。

很显然她不准备回家。
