总结来看,中国移动通信业在以往国家产业政策的指导下,长期处于垄断、“大小分吃”的格局,即便是竞争也是非理性的价格战,没有从理性竞争的实质出发,来培养各自的核心竞争力。而对于入世后的国外移动通信企业冲击,国家相关部门已经开始有意识地打破垄断定价,移动通信企业也各自拥有先天的、人为的产品差异,但是距离理性竞争战略实质的要求还有一定的差距。今后要加强的应该是基于平等技术开发为核心、优质的服务质量为内容、特色的服务措施为亮点的核心竞争力的培养,以形成持久的差异性。不能再依靠先天优势和人为政策造差别、垄断定价造利润了。况且,从世界移动通信业的竞争态势来看,发展初期的高垄断性形成的高额入网费及高额通话费在不断降低,今天的世界移动通信业已经逐步向“平均利润”时代发展。资费不断下调,竞争日趋激烈,迫使企业由规模经济向效益经济转变。在这个调整期内,企业要生存与发展,就必须设法寻找新的出路,寻找新的利润增长点。必须放弃以往惯用的单纯依靠价格因素来挤垮竞争者,达到“单赢”的目的,而应该从“单赢”转向“双赢”。因为全球化经济的发展特点是相互渗透与融合,技术通用性、业务综合性、经营策略广泛性的企业更能够适于竞争。竞争与合作原本矛盾的行动,现已被统一到企业的发展战略中来。所以,对于中国移动通信企业,不论是目前的两家,还是未来可能的多家,放弃价格战,基于差异性基础上,实施理性竞争战略才是出路所在。
