现在分词作状语.其实这可以写成下面的这样结构: She brought along a book to read because she expected to wait for hours.可见状语从句是主动语态,用分词作状语的话,就用现在分词.
如果状语从句是被动语态,就用过去分词来表示,如:The article was not so good because it was written in a hurry. 用分词作状语,则写成: Written in a hurry, the article was not so good.
他主动等,不是被等~
现在分词作原因状语。
