我只知道形容词是修饰名词代词，什么的，碰到后面是名词，代词的我就用的spare，其他用的to spare。

分析上面的句子,其中1-4都楼主的用法都是正确的,第五句则应用了spare做为动词"宽舒"的意思,应该是spare me,或sparing me.
楼主的判断是否加"to"的方法是很实用的,spare作为形容词就是修饰名词或代词.至于to spare的用法,要根据上面的意义根据句意判断(看是否是"多余的,不用的),同时,从结构上判断也是很有效的,to spare 修饰的成分在它的前面.
