I'm a sophomore(undergraduate),and I wanna go to Canada to continue my study after my graduation. But my transcript is little terrible,so I'm afraid that will be an obstacle which block my way ahead. My question is:If I wanna go abroad, which event will be of most importance to me such as transcript,IELTS,GRE,letters of reference, ect.
I appreciate your help!

If you are going for graduate level study and you've already got terrible transcripts, you'd better go for real good scores on IELTS/TOEFL and other necessary exams and all other materials you need to submit such as the recommendation letters and personal statement.

I don't think going to Canada is as competitive as going into the United States. As long as you choose some average or above-average schools but not those top national universities to apply, you'll be just fine.

But do remember if you don't have good grades, you must try to get as best as you can on the exams that you need to take in order to study abroad, plus your letters of recommendation and personal statement. These all count. Also if you have some professional or related work experience, it will look good too.

Good luck.

Good Luck, man
