It is about the end of the semester, final exams are coming in just a minute. Everybody is trying hard to study on each subject and hope can get a good grade in the final exam. There are several study strategies come out among us. I would like to talk about these study strategies and share my opinion about it.
First, some people would like to study in group, which means four to five students form a group and study together. The benefit to be in this kind of study group is that you can learn from each other and help each other on some questions. For example, one of the students might not understand a specific question. And the rest of the group will try to help that student by their knowledge. By doing this, students can review what they already know, and learn what they did not know. It is very good to each member of the group. In addition, it can create a health competition study environment to the students.
Second strategies is doing more exercises. It is also good because practice makes perfect. I think once we can familiar with the questions, we can do very well on the final exam. Also, most of the questions from final exam will be alike the exercises because the idea of the course will not change. You just need to figure out what kind of questions will be most likely appeare on the final, and then go over it and make sure you understand it!
Third strategies is that students love to guess what questions will appeare on the final exam. It is a good strategies also beacuse you can understand which topic is more important than the others. But you cannot just focus to review for the questions you expect because sometimes what you think is different from the teachers. Guessing is a good strategy if you know how to change your focus on the review.
Above are several strategies that students commonly use in order to prepare for their final. I believe everyone will do very well on their final because they study very hard. I hope our hard work will be paid off on our test grade.
