我们英语老师也拿不准,但答案是A.
不过对于这个宾语从句来说,先行词是the days ,按理说应该用 when ,可是好象有可做"物"来解释,这样一来,好象应该选A.读起来感觉也比较对.

由于spent是及物动词，需要宾语。that可作宾语，而when是副词，不能做宾语。
当然是选A的。这道题目是学习定语从句的经典例题~我怀疑你老师的实力。。。
spent somn time doing sth.
这里缺少的是some time~是一个名词，而不是时间状语~所以要用that而不是when.
spend 是及物动词 所以应该是A the days 是先行词，做spent的宾语
固定结构：spend some time (in) doing sth.
在这个句子中，the days就是结构中的some time，some time是名词，所以选A。
如果不是选择，这里完全可以什么都不添，因为the days是spend的宾语。
当然是A，定语从句的典型例子啊。
这句子应该是宾语从句,怎能是定语从句呢?
