英国英国广播公司电台，美国，法国，西班牙，匈牙利等国家禁播此曲。

这是一首充满阴暗美感的老歌，30年代来到巴黎的匈牙利音乐家Seress从没有过一首吸引法国发行上的作品，然而他仍然执意于作曲，希望有一天能写出轰动世界的歌曲。这个梦想竟因为在生命最不堪的关卡所写出的作品而实现。某个星期天，他的女友又因为他的不切实际，在激烈的争吵后离开，感情受伤，而且经济破产的Seress座到钢琴前，不经意的弹奏出这首歌曲的第一段旋律。。。这次终于有发行商买下这首歌，而且受到许多人的喜爱，一直到2次大战前，甚至还数度传出有人因为这首悲伤的歌曲而厌世的事情，渐渐地这首歌蒙上一层神秘的色彩。
