The Phoenix Ancient city was called ZhenGan which located in the southwest of XiZhou, Hunan.
There's a moutain looks like a flying phoenix, that is why it was called. It covers an land of 1,700 square kilometres, having a population of 370,000. It is a centre where ethnic minorities gather, such as Miao, Tu.
The Phoenix Ancient City----The state-owned cultural city, with its beautiful landscape and long history, and it's valuable ancient architectures. There are old buildings and temples which were built in Ming and Qing Dynasty inside the city. There flows the ancient TuoJiang. There're South HuaShan national forest park, and a palace underneath the city. There are HuangsiQiao ancient city built in Tang Dynasty and a southen Great wall which enjoys a famous reputation.
Not only it enjoys a fascinating view but it also cultivated various talents. Like the national hero Zhengguohong, the 1st prime minister as the "Hunan Genius" XiongXiLing;
