即刻早期基因(immediate early gene, IEG)是一类能快速、短暂表达的基因。主要包括：c-jun、c-fos和egr-1、egr-2、egr-3、egr-4。其作用一方面是促进细胞的早期分化，另一方面还可引起脑缺血后的细胞凋亡。其机理尚不是分清楚，可能是多方面共同作用的结果。因此还有待更深一步的研究。
Instantly early gene (immediate early gene, IEG) is one kind can fast, the short expression gene. Mainly includes: c-jun, c-fos and egr-1, egr-2, egr-3, egr-4. On the one hand its function promotes the cell early differentiation, after on the other hand also may cause the brain to lack the blood the cell to perish weakly. Its mechanism was still not divides clearly, possibly is the result which various affects together. Therefore also waits for deeper step research.
