We are sorry to tell you that we just received your L/C today for the above mentioned sales confirmation. It's clearly stipulated that your L/C must arrive no later than the end of August. Although your L/C didn't arrive before the due time as agreed, we would like to ship the cargo you ordered based on our long-term good partnership. But we cannot ship the cargo in the time as per the sales confirmaiton due to the late arrival of your L/C. Now we need your help in extending the expire date of your L/C as follows:
(1) the latest shipment date to be the end of October;
(2) the expire date to be November 15th.
Please note that we must have your L/C amendment before September 30, otherwise we cannot ship the cargo in the expected time.
